vu duo wont flash or read usb??????

    i have the serial adapter which was included with the box gonna try again now then will post back thanks for all your help

      tried and says serial port opened sucess please turn on your box then power on the VU+ and since DHCP is set but it will not let me set the ip its not highlighted for me to click on set so cant flash any other versions i can try

        You should not even have any cables plugged in at all apart from the null modem cable and the IC security update chip, try flashing again with just those attached.

        As i said previously you must have a dedicated RS232 port on your PC/laptop any type of serial adaptor will not work with the clones.

            Keep trying mate eventually it should take the flash procedure and work, I know one member on here spent at least 6 hours trying and eventually it worked.

              Have tried still cant flash vu util won't flash keeps asking for duo s ip I only have rs 232 and ic chip fitted no other cables are fitted anyway to blag IP address or should I give up and sell the clone
