Is it clearing any channels from any other sat ? Do you have a motorised or multi-lnb set up to be able to test that ?

could it be du to ch lists?

It's actually a very common problem with clones and it's a result of the method Ferrari used to patch the receiver ( their so called security patch ). basically there is a timing error in their method which locks up the tuner if you zap a little too quickly, the only solution is to hard reboot the receiver.

This does occasionally occur on original receivers too but in no where near the same frequency as with clones.

There isn't an auto setting for the LNB is there?
