When I use the volume control on the remote it only seems to have an effect for the last 2 thirds, so I have to crank it up to 2 thirds to get any volume after which a few bars take it from no volume to full. Is this something that I can change?

        Did check the audio button.

The other thing I've noticed is that whilst zapping channels the box will randomly get tune failed, only way to resolve this is to do a restart.

Another question is there an equivalent of the Info button that is on the DM? So within a bouquet you could press info and it would list all the programs on that channel for the day, the only way I've found of doing this in the Duo is by going into the EPG guide.

Thats down to the method Ferrari used to crack Vu's drivers / bootloader. when zapping too fast it will totally lock the box up and require a restart. There is nothing you can do about that unless ferrari them selves release a fix

Is there anybody out there that can temporarily connect their Duo via SCART/RGB into a SCART RGB in socket in their TV to see if they too get a green picture? I can't think of another way of confirming if it's the box or maybe the image although I've tried Blackhole 1.7.0 and ViX 2.4-151, please

You'll need a SCART cable capable of RGB by the way.

all scart leads are capable of RGB output as long as they have the 21 pin wiring.

silly question have you changed your output setting to use scart instead of hdmi as box may be set up for hdmi.

I've quietened the fan down by replacing the fan for a ball bearing version and then connected it to a thermal sensor which came from a PC PSU that I had lying around. Stuck the thermal sensor onto the heatsink on the PSU that got the hottest so the speed will ramp up if the innards start to roast.
