Can't view Vu+ duo in network.

Hi all. Just flashed Vix 2.4 on my vu+ duo and love the image.
Problem is when I go into my network on my pc I can't see my vu+ duo hdd.
I tried my blackhole backup again and it was fine. Put vix 2.4 back on and i couldn't see it in the network again.
I can connect via ftp and telnet though.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

I just gave that a go, no luck.
I even unplugged the router for a minute and then restarted everything.
      Any other ideas anyone?

I have enable afp but the share is connected as guest and is read only. What is the user/pass to enable write?
