    hi mate.the answer to your question is no,you should be albe to record two seperate channels without them being on the same transponder.

      where is softcam manager in BH ? and how do u disable all cams auto start?

        Press blue button on your remote should take you to the Cams menu where you can change cam and start/stop and disable autostart cam
