    Guys

Took your advice and jumped in at the deep end.
Spoke to world of satellite and went to pick up my box.
Stef kindly flashed to VIX image but I think thats about all. ( Sorry Stef if that incorrect).
Powered up the box and went to startup wizard.
The box is working and shows the FTA channels.
A couple of questions which the main one cant be answered on the forum (due to the rules) but if any one is able to help my email
Also what to do next to the box?

I have never used Linux, is the setup of this box quite simple.

What about setting C*ine? I presume this cant be discused here.
yes its relatively easy to setup. ask when you need help and read as much as you can, you wont go far wrong.

i'm in the process of writing a tutorial to set the receiver up from unboxing to watching FTV channels its just getting the time to complete things.

There on Ebay guys, think there 100 cheaper than an original, but you'll have to keep using clone safe firmware in the near future as Vu are away to or have released something to stop clones from working.Check out the main VU site has a write up on there.

Dead easy to setup, be even easier once I get round to posting a working
image :-), buy it, make sure its not a clone though, try world of satellite Raj.
