my mates solo 2 clone, i flashed official vix 3.0 build 808 which seems to still working, and no updates longer made for it, so thinking this is safe then ?

Any image pre-Dec 2013 should be AOK as long as you do not do any sort of update to them

Can you extract the mtd0-1-2-3-4 and post them ? This would help to recover the cfe bin,

sadly i dont the box it was a mates box who doesn't live local, i just set it up for me and his the type that doesn't mess about or knows how they work, luckily i flashed older image and not been effected, just hope someone will find a fix for the people who dont have theres working anymore

Word going around now is that you may have to replace the nandflash Chip completely for this to work PRC are ending some out but its not a Soldering job for the fainthearted
