i have got 'the box' (thats what it says on the front anyway). this is what info it gives me API ver: 4.51e_E Bootver: 7.0 9.July 2007. i have tried all this but am still getting the normals ones i get with exc&w. will i have to install any new software or anything or will the problem sort it self out in time if i just keep on rescanning it? if i have to install any new software how? i am in oldham using virgin media if it helps. thanks mate

yes, mate, you need latest software. pretty sure you have an sv1 or sv2. different software for all 4 boxes. you need a null modem cable to download from pc to your box. also you need to get software from the above red stickies. it can be a bit daunting at first, but well worth the effort. i'm not used to sv1/2 but the guys here will help....
