i've tried formatting and reinstalling windows and insite 7.2 no luck. I thought maybe reg entry was causing problems. I work for peterbilt dealer and contacted cummins to buy software and register to me, but they said they will not sell to individual.

hi to all reformated pc set the date to nov 2008 loaded 7.1 and all working ok with inline 4 interface fleet cals also but will need old incal info only need 2 codes from them

Thanks, can you upload Cummins insite 7.1,
problem with expire date seems to e only with later versions of the program.

Have seen it on v 6.5.2 also.
Also have seen same message on dealers
machines and an authorized v7.1!

I think they have change the key algorithm and as part of there update system (including 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 have been timebombed to expire), updates the software which changes the licencing within the program.
A fix may be intresting.

I think the change in the algorithm has been in all versions 7.1 and later all along. I have 2 shop pc's that have it installed. One of them had just been re-installed due to HDD failure. Reg. was transfered. The KG does not match the p-word issued. The other PC has been upgraded over the years from 6.2 to current. It is giving me the 2/17 expire on basic, but not pro. It was just renewed a couple of months ago. These pc's have never been connected online, so it is not from the auto updates. I have played with the dates, it currently will accept a password for a version 7.0 or older, if pushed up past 2/17 it will not accept from the KG.

Looks like a work around is to back date the date on the pc and do a clean install.

Have tried on versions 7 and up, but might have be careful and make sure that the computer date is not set before the release date of the software as it still timebombs to the 17th feb.

hey guys the isite time bomb apparently even with a format and a fresh load does not fix it and insite 7 was apparently the beginning has any one got an older version or could any one tell me if the bomb is written in the bios or not thanks

Version 6.4 does not time bomb.

Release date however was awhile go
like late 2005.
