True, anybody in the right mind should take suggestion's with a pinch of salt. Just a thought.

sometimes people get so desperate they will try anything.

Of course , the main advice would be to see a doctor.

Recently we had a prob with the granddaughter, i googled her symptoms, a week later she was sorted, once i knew what the symptoms were related to , it made the doctors medication much easier to prescribe, many times doctors get it wrong as well.

if i had not googled for a cure, and if the doctor got it wrong, my granddaughter would certainly had the problem for many years, even up to 21 years old i read..

Is there a way to put some sort of disclaimer on every post in this proposed section?

Of course, always check with your doctor before taking anyone one here advice, its mainly for to pinpoint the possible illness , using the symptoms you have.

i am a qualified first aider, and there is always a way round things

good idea for minor ailments, and not prescribing ingested strong medicines.

As I said earlier Shady, I think it would only have to be at the start of the actual thread. And that would cover everybody that posts their opinions.
