Ya I had already replace the cables.xml file into the box. I had also read the link you sent me, quite abstract. So can't catch any of it what is saying. The SH channel list is also hard to locate.

Hi guys,
I recently update my blackbox888 to Darkstar 2, however I'm having problem using the Auto search function. Using Manual Search, I am able to find the SH channels, but the channel numbers are in a mess and not the same as SH. Any advise?

Oh bro you misunderstood me, what I mean was I can't download the channel list based on the below link which I was given.

Oh I was reading too many sources from here and there. Anyway, I had already tried your method by loading the cables.xml file and replace the previous ones. However, I needs to create a bouquet. And till date, I still can't locate a bouquet which fits the network for Singapore, i.e. SH if I need to use Dreamboxedit.
Had taken a look at the download section, however most of it are from uk sources, which are quite irrelevant to my box.

If anybody here can give me a ticker or link, i would be really appreciate.

Actually if you already scan all SH channel and find it all jumble means you have the file in the image. What you do now is use your dreamboxedit to rearrange the channel.. After that backup the image for recovery if anything happen in future.

Hi bro check your cable connection within the supply(scv) to your box whether were those connected properly?Or get yourself original cable at SLT base #1. This wil settle your problem.

i'm from SG and i recently bought a blackbox 888. based on what i read, it's actually a DM500c right?

it has recently stopped working for no reason and i'm wondering whether i need to flash it to get it to work again.

it just isnt responding to the remote or the standby button. Any kind soul can help? or guide me along? i cant seem to find the s***hub keys as well..

i'm sorry but i'm really new to this. Hope i can get some help.

I thought someone (properly a seller selling Blackbox 888) say Blackbox 888 have 0% RMA rate & asking everyone to buy Blackbox, not DM500C???

Little did he know that Blackbox 888 & DM500C is having the same board, only different casing & oem by different factory.

So far, what I have heard is that Blackbox 888 have all along been very unstable & image always go missing (i.e: back to factory default). Should be oem by Yang-An.

Not worth buying a Blackbox 888 no matter how good the seller tell you. The best person to comment are those already bought & use them as paper weight now.

Make sure you have a coms port on your desktop. Otherwise you need to buy additional usb adapter which could be problematic.
