Got my DM 500 killed this weekend. Did t know about this `Adios Amigo`. Now trying to get new one from my dealer. Thanks to danish law waranity works for 2 years! But just in case trying to know as much about JTAG.
Want to know, after connection of JTAG isit DreamUp I have to use to burn the new boot?

Is it possible to find out by using any software about you have clone or real one. The one I got was sold as real, but became a clone. And died th[ to Gemnini.

Hi,

I have a problem. I have two Dreamboxes here (DM500). Unfortunatly they are fake and now I would like to rewrite the bootloader. With the DOSTool I was able to fix the sat-box but the cable box i wasnt able to program with the DOS Tool because I cant choose a cable boot loader from the drop down menue.
Is there any opportunity to chose another bin file that the DOS Tool will write in it or is there any other DOS tool that is able choose extern bins to write into that flash? Unfortunatly the windows tool is not working here because i have the chip JS28F640 in the box.
and as it seems you cannot programm that with the tool or is there maybe a crack existing for that?

I have a CRS2 programmer here, that are able to write into the bootloader. I also have an Adapter unfortunatly I dont get a connection with that either maybe i would be able to write into the flash with that?

Hi, I've jtag the dm500c, but cant connect with dreamup, it's just waiting for acknowledgement and nothing happens.
Any idea to correct this problem.

Do NOT use Gemini 4.4, it has the same disable clone issue

In the folder where the JtagWindows tool is located, do you have a blimg file there?
I experienced with this tool, when you click more the 4 times on connect, the tool crashed as well. So, I managed it as follow, start the JtagWindows tool, tryied 4 times, if the write button, wasn't enabled, close it and start the tool again (no joke).
