any reason why the dm500 jtag files dont seem to open and connect via the connected jtag

Hi. I am trying to jtag using DOS but cannot connect. I guess my CPU is version2 which I have to solder the wire to the CPU port.
Where can I download the windows version?

Ok now I can use DOS version with version2 CPU now.

Just a bit wrong wiring at the tck and tdi at first.

when i open cmd dos is open but when i open 1info.bat or other command my system is stop working ans there is fault in programe i have win 7

Hi all,

I have a death board with INTEL TE28F640 flash and i was intend to use windows version of JTAG as some ppl. are write above. The JTAG is a simple one with 5 100ohm resistors and is OK because if i use the DOS verssion the board is recognized but unknown INTEL flash message appear. So the problem is when i start the windows program with the right blimg inside it connect to the board and memory but when i click write the program it close by itself. Is this because the CPU (i have a Intel 2GHz Pentium Dual Core E2180). What i can do ? Thank you !

The dos programm reports flash intel unknown and stops after 'erase flash done'.
The windows program gives an 'could not determine parallel interface on your pc!' and stops.

All this on vista. If I try XP will it make any difference?

i have the same problem, any solutions for this?

Problem with Jtag on DM500S

Hi all,

I have read the thread and successfully created a JTAG cable as outlined in the tutorial. When running file 1info.bat all i get is
Register Test Failed. Check Cable connection.
Target Test Failed. If you need help, run "flash help"

Please assist as my DM needs to be JTAG as i have no visible lights when power is plugged in.

Does anyone know if there is a source code for the DM500 JTAGing? I mean the source code that recovers DM500 that has a faulty bootloader.I found only compiled version.
