The instructions are simply too technical for us!
And finding an answer isn't as simple as browsing through the posts which are overwhelming too many posts (can you all see the huge amount of messages within a topic?).

People already know the new channels, and has been talking about it for 2-3 weeks, you suddenly post you discover 2 new channels. Some more ask how to update. (You really waiting for spoonfeeding)...

There is nothing technical here and clear instructions has been given in every thread.

Hi, all
I just acquired a DM500C from overseas and I can't seem to get it working in Singapore, therefore could anyone provide me with step to step instructions. I already have the Dreamup 1.3.3.9 but not the img file.

Actually this forum is for newcomers/beginners/oldtimer & so on even now i'm still learning new things.
Not to boast but how do u think i managed to create this plugin or guide newbies how to use DB edit?
The answer is i am still a newbie & reading in this forum get me all the answer i need, so if u're leaving this forum u will loose knowledge beyond a regular Sporean u must think outside your box to understand what this forum is all about

added more info:

E1 plugin will not update channel when ur network are not connected or server are down.

Q: how to tell server down or no network?
a msg say : Connection Failed!

But i had just try the plugin. It show connection failed. Pls check if your lan are connected to internet.

I do a ping check on the dm500c, it show ok. I am not sure what is the problem

Did u do a reboot after FTP the script?
U should try again when 1st attempt failed sometime could be lost connection between box & router

maybe re-download from master DB link

but wait for master Db to give green light then u try if not do not try later all ur channel list gone
small issue by Db not yet fix hehe

I created this plugin for E1 500C hope u guys leave feedback

1. FTP files to their respective folder/
2. chmod the .sh script to 755 or change .sh script attributes to 755/
3. reboot box.

when box is up and running again, press the yellow button and select SGSH Channels Updater, the box will reboot after the bouquets have been updated.

Please backup your setting 1st before using this plugin.

All plugin is for experimental purposes use at your own risk.

I experiment this plugin using PLI Jade 2 images if u're using a different images please let us know if it don't work.

applied to my box
changed to 755
how do i set the script to download channels
from a link i have set up as i like to keep channels
updated for friends boxes and would save me loads
of hastle.
