do you mean your trying to connect with dream control center or your trying to flash with dreamup ,we need more info please. what cables are you using , let us know.

hi everyone need a little bit of help

i have a dreambox dm500-c and had a little accident
i pressed panic button which after reading tells me that it removes all the guts from my flash image so i downloaded
dk 1.1 from downloads section along with dreamup
when i connect crossover cable i can not for the life me
get it to connect so i tried the null cable which i have followed every guide to the letter when i connect and click connect it goes through its stages where it says connected and loading bootloader and that its speaking ok so i go to select the image i wont it starts to flash does about 5% and then says user aborted closing

i have tried to explane the best i can so can someone please HELP ME! before i go out of my mind

if dreamup says user aborted (even tho you didnt ) putting it simply that the version of dreamup you are using is not working as it should be ,so try an older version ofr dreamup first (if your box is a dm500) and a newer version if its a newer box .you can get dreamup from link 2 or link 3 in my signature area .

need help again lads. i have connected a null modem cable to dreambox and pc.
i load up dreamup and press connect. i then turn on the power but nothing happens.
i am using com port 1 and the default local ip and remote ip. i have also tried to put in my dreambox ip address. but still nothing comes up.

any help will be welcome.

when you press connect is there any text in the log box, if so what is it saying . are you using a null modem cable connected directly to your box and pc or are you also using a usb to serial adaptor . if your just using a null modem cable com1 should work ,if your also using the adaptor try changing com ports and press connect again.

Iam using win xp and dm800
text = connection prepared power on dream box
iam using null cable which work with dm600
I used enforcer when flash get massege file to big

I read every thread and tried all but problem not solved and just to catch up no ethernet light in the back of the dream
please help

try unplugging the box and then the router ,unconnect the ethernet cable from the router and reconnect again and do the same with the dreambox . now power up the dreambox and let it boot up ,when it has booted up plug in the router . do you have lights now . you need to try and download the very latest version of dreamup and try flashing again.
