i'll hold my hand up and say yes it wasnt my position to add an external link for a working fix,

i got a few pm's requesting the back up that was sent to me and then a mod or senior member said that it should be made available to everybody so i added the external link,

In all fairness Satsmo is spot on.
If you cant get FTP working, or are unable to learn howto,, then expecting ~~~~ing backup images, your a joke and should go back to living the life of a starview.

guys everything is woriking for me except one little issue,

when i power the box off and plug back in, i have a black screen, i have to wait about 1 minute and then change to a different channel to clear channels, no biggie but was just wondering if theres a way to sort this.

i also notice on the image uploaded on this thread uses hypercam 1.01, but i have heard references on the forum to hypercam 1.06, maybe if i change to 1.06 this will sort the issue?

sometimes you will turn on a channel and its a black screen, change channel, then turn back, if still nothing do it again, just try the channel several times

Dont think this version of hypercam was ever gonna be fixed for the db,seems it was intentionally broken and released?correct me if i'm wrong.

Ireland fix

Despite all the hype I have to say that this Hypercam fix is a load of ***** There are loads of problems as the Cam will not clear the channels on a reboot or if the box is powered down. it is a pity as I have an ITGate and it clears all the channels with no problem. I have wasted a complete 2 days Fu***** around with this fix only to find that it only Half works.....You live and learn !!!!!

Did you read through the complete thread? You can either manually start the cam or edit the script to do so.

How many channels were working for you before the hypercam fix? Your last quote "You live and learn", is however true.

what extension should be on the main hypercam106 file. i cant get it to ftp across, it only does about 139kb
