I have indeed, and it works well. My biggest mistake was that I just switched to RTE2 after installing hypercam. When I eventually figured out to switch to S*Y sp*rts, it worked almost immediately.

RTE2 is encrypted now, though strangely RTE2 THE DEN is not and is currently showing what is usually on RTE2, since most list in alphabetical order it can be confusing.

I am not getting any channels working on 150, including kerrang and fashion TV. They scan in and have EPG, but they are "service unavailable" (or similar). They work fine on the itgate on the same feed. Image is DK1.1

yes when our channels went last time key roll change only rte1 available upc dont give even the free to air channels away .on that subject rte are not available fta on satellite ? pay licence fees and get nought

When you right click you should get attributes/properties/chmod depending on the image,then left click the above option and change it to 755

you can change it while using ftp option on "dreambox control center"

PLUG AND UNPLUG

Hi but will it start automatic when you unplug and plug it back in, the dreambox 500c

sent you an email in response to your pm. have to execute cam file 1.06 everytime you unplug your box. Leaving it on standby, it works fine. Desperate Dan has a sticky on creating an auto start for your cam if you want.

Finally got me head around this, very straightforward really, but 1 thing I noticed......It would'nt allow me to "execute" the cam, I had to FTP it over a couple of times until it worked.

Using DCC for ftp, Hypercam FTP'd to Var/Bin, Right clicked files, changed attributes to 755 on hypercam.cfg and hypercam_1.06.
Left the "keys" attributes at 644.
Using DB500 remote, pressed blue, selected "tuxbox commander", navigated to "Var/Bin" scrolled down to "hypercam_1.06", pressed "ok" on remote, pressed left on remote to highlight "ok", pressed exit twice, pressed left again, pressed ok again, exit out to channels.............waited approx 2 mins, changed channel and bingo.................Happy camper !!

Now to try getting it working on a dbox2......Anyone got any ideas ??

Hi Lads, using DW image.. changed it to DK1.1 box hung up would not boot... changed back to DW and have FTA and all EPG tried hypercam etc no use... any ideas ???.. tried DK1.1 image from different sources, box wont boot it... anyone help???

The only Irish channel that is FTA on upc is RTE1
