For people using Pli Image:

To add a Soft Cam manually:


FTP the appropriate files to your box and chmod the files


Create an empty file with the same name as the Soft Cam, for example "hypercam". Optionally, you can enter the version number of the softcam as text and save it




Upload this file to /var/etc/plimgr/cams/



PLi Manager will now detect the new Soft Cam "hypercam", if you entered a version number in your file it will be recognised as such

Choose the new Soft Cam in the Soft Cam Setup

ok dude, i am using flash fxp,have all ftpeed to var folder,rebooted the box,but cant see the new cam up?(dk image)

can you not download the cam directly to your box via addons?

dk server adons?there`s only hypercam 1.01...do we have to change the atribbutes to 755 on all 3 files?

I think you need 1.06 just delete 1.01 & put 1.06 & chmod all files to 755

I got 1.01 to work
