Follow the tutorial.

Although in order to get the channels on the sat box you will have to look into sharing from someone else.

Not as simple as a cable box.

can someone help me. I have flashed the box with flashfxp (thanks for the download info here) and its worked with ip address etc.
Im confused about how to go about transferring keys and scce and which ones from rapid sharing download do they go to??

I must say thank you for creating such a forum with informative ideas and info. When flashing ur dbox with flashfxp u need to change the ip address of the box manually following after the router

e.g.
router ip - 192.168.0.1
pc ip - 192.168.0.2
dbox ip - 192.168.0.24 ( need to change this to 192.168.0.3) as well as making sure ur gateway and nameserver are the sam as ur router ip address.

hi, i am having problems flashing a dreambox,[have done 3 boxes with no problem]when 100% it says ERROR RESETTING LOCK_BITS anyone any idea what is wrong,is the box faulty? any help welcome.

i can only feceive fta channels and sky sports does not appear on the list of available channels please help are there any new magic files i should be using

ok guys i got a dm500c here in the us if i use your guide and files will it work on comcast? or do you know of any others? don't blow me off i'm open to here any input someone might have i put another thread in and got no response dvb seller say's it works over here i need some kind of help please

you need to unzip the file as it is in a zipped(compressed) format. You need to use a program that will de-compress the file. click this link to read this post from earlier in the thread.

I've seen these on DVBMonkey
Dreambox 500c
Eagle box 500c
OEM Black box 500c
and wanted to know the differences between them, which one to buy and if I'd need to download a different image or follow a different guide.

hi all. followed this very useful guide but as others have reported, am only getting FTA channels. There was some discussion early in the thread that seemed to conclude that the keys were perhaps outdated and that this was the cause of the blank screens. Can anyone tell me if this is the likely root of my problem, and direct me to the latest files if indeed there are any? I have attempted to read around the forum and will try a variety of solutions, but thought i'd just seek some advice before i spend another afternoon tangling myself up in half understood technological experimentation. many thanks!
