I just tested the file and it worked. HQK3388 reboot and have more channels. But boxkey changed. Boxkey now FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Thanks Jatrophaseed.

Read the forum and download the fy901_C .ar file. You may able to repair your box. If it die, just throw away.
I recommemd you to get a new box. HD800c by HDMB. Latest software and hardware. Update, upgrade by internet and USB. No more the old fashion RS232 slow and null cable a must. Just use USB drive to update firmware. Card-sharing also possible. It is HDMI out (very clear and can see nose hair also) and you get view 17 extra HD channels. If you start scan from 306 to 698, you may get additional PPV when available. Hokkien Ruyi and HBO demand etc.....
Sounds good... it is true. but you must try your luck. Usually evening there are more Demand channels can be view.
Oh, I dont sell and I dont know how to get them. You have to ask your friends in Xin.

OK, Many Question it dont work, the 5105comm worked in Chinese PRC windows only. Read post #69 how to activate the Chinese PRC windows. Remember to switch back to your default after using.
Yes, the software 5105 work for 900, 3388 also but be warn different tuner have different settings. I am not the programmer, I just post from what i received. Tested working and I can confirm it. But I am not reponsible if anything goes wrong. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I cannot guarantee your work.

No, some Boxkey cannot be change by remote, change the card boxkey to that you read in 1a1a1.
I repeat: the fy901_c is for 901, 900, 3388. but make sure your tuner is CD1316, SV22. any other tuner I dont have the software. I may ask.
How to change Boxkey in card, too complicated. I dont know.

@Arraysys, idiotboi,
attachment all files for fy box up to june 2010. Box discontinued in 30th july2010. Now only HD versions are produced. What you buy now are left overs.

just to share, i hv tried on my old win XP caused box dead, however, tried another win7 it worked (dont know why??), so folk, if it fails just try on another computer. cheers!!Comment

Glad you got it running. Most dont even get to the stage where the 5105.exe and any files with a blue progressive line running. They pm me that the software is a DUD.

Thank you mate, your softwares are working fine.
Infact my box dead more than 6 times by trying all the files, as i felt that since it's got, i tried on another computer with repeated of flashing different files, n it worked on SG100223_SprBx.ar.
Mate, duriantreetop's attachments are ok, may your procedure is not correct, pls follow the steps of flashing in the attachment (dl from web, it is in chinese). hope this help.Last edited by tspt88; 6 October, 2010, 18:37.Comment

Hi Bros,
I'm really in need of some help here.. I'm using a HQK 3388, there's been some lag in the show lately, and the lag is getting bad as time goes by. I've switched off the power switch, on the back of my HQK 3388 box. When i switched on, i could only see the red light but there are no green light. I'm not able to on my HQK 3388, any more.. Does any Bros out there had expreiences before?
Please kindly share and assist, really in need of some help here.. Thank you so much in advance...
