Thank you very much for the useful post. It's used for me 100%.
Recently on 18 Jul, Key changed, resulting in many DM900CII user unable to view.
I know nothing abt setting/flashing, not to even mention recover, in the end did a master reset on my 900CII, till now I admit this is a stupid thing to do.
thru many email advice and MSN message and lots of help from many brother. Please refer to below for those people, who master Reset their DM900CII, and don't know how to recover.
The guide is only for those who did a Master Reset
1. By all mean, i assume you master reset your device, now
do another round of Master Reset
2. Once reset, on 900CII, will prompt you for auto tuning,
skip this, by pressing YELLOW to go into MENU, select TP
range tuning.
Range: 304 to 698, proceed to search
3. When done, i have around 120++ channel detected.
Press YELLOW to go to MENU again
Press BLUE repeatly till COMMAND Box comes out
Command: f8 ....................
"..............." meaning after f8, the rest all ff
i know key is not allow, therefore i try to "shorten the key posted here".
4. It should work and all the channel are back and "viewable"
or "watchable"
yes I know all channel inside, but how come all channel s position is all mess up.
Well, I can help till this stage, i am still figuring how to put those channel postion back to default position.
BUT at least your box is usable, need not to spend money on new cards or new dreambox.Comment

Sometime its not the senior here not helping you guys but there are some guy just simply dun get it & say dun want to waste $$$ wanna use back existing card, please help blah blah blah.
Those still using the so-called aucard 3rd-gen or 5th-gen (red & yellow on each side), there is no 2-way about it. get a ka-wang (aka card king) & your problem will be solve. If not, please post here & believe there will be alot of help around. I mean for those who already bought the ka-wang (card king).
I'm not a seller for this card so please do not PM me but just offering a solution.
Talking about wasting $$$. If you are getting a new card, be sure you get a ka-wang (card king), not any other card that is clone by the chinese (i.e.: the existing aucard you have now). If not, maybe 3 months later, you will be dropping by here in DK asking for help again. Pix of ka-wang attached:
