ok,start again then m8.Delete the channel and re-do it from scratch..Do you rename it Sky Box Office Sports where it asks you for the name? I am pretty sure you are maybe overlooking something m8...Its still working for Glasgow TW m8.....

the only one that comes up with sync/lock ticked is 627 so is that what i should be using? and ive got telewest points

You can untick the boxes yourself m8! Have you unticked the boxes that should/shouldnt be ticked/crossed as per the tut?
What bit are you at m8?As it dont say in the tut to sync/lock etc etc..thats the Automatic settings I am sure..I aint at my DB so cant see exactly what settings you are looking at m8....

u cant tick or untick the lock/sync boxes, and the beginning of this thread says they need to be ticked, when i put in 555 or 507 they are unticked but 627 they r ticked. i have been trying everything from the tut since 8pm

Right deep breath m8...Look at the thread here again,it dont say anything about lock/sync m8..You sure your in the manual transponder scan section on the box?
Look here and make sure you are following it...

Hi just to let you know if you are using the live events channel that shows hatton on the left and cena on the right, this will not be showing the live event. you must follow devilfish's guide here:

I live in croydon and followed this guide. instead of using 555 for frequency i used 507, to check which one works for you enter one of them and if lock and sync and unticked then this will not work. try the other one and when the lock and sync is ticked you can proceed with the guide in the like above. when i did the scan it came back with 9 new channels. you will need to restart your box and then go to sbo. there should be some background music with a picture of only ricky hatton in the center and not with cena.

so to ensure your on the right channel plz note the advice given above

555 gives me 1 transponder, same as 507, 627 gives me 1 transponder with 22 services, but still get "service cannot be found" even after reboot

Right,I think I know what he means if they LOCK/SYNC when you select 55 or 507 as whe you use AUTOMATIC scanning and it finds a valid transponder then it LOCKS/SYNCS onto it,so thats where hes coming from with that,Phew glad I sorted that out in my head hahaha
Right,Forget whatever has been said before m8 and have you followed what Devilfish(the above I posted has said)never mind with the lock/sync ...LMK
