Firstly, thanks to those that are still helping even though they have it working. I am new to the dreambox world but have successfully updated the keys on a dbox so i am hoping its similar.

I don't seem to have tux com on mine just file browser. I have a keylist.txt from my dbox and I have uploaded that to the var/keys folder as I did not have one. Still not working though. I know the AU needs to be changed to 02 but I dont know where it is or how to alter the cams on here. Advice would be appreciated ( i am really missing my dbox at the moment ):/

what image are you using???
some of them don't have Tuxbox commander installed on them, so you'll have to install it manually...
if you can FTP scroll up to my last post and download the file and install it.

but if you can FTP it's allot easier to do it that way

navigate through var/keys/ and double click on KEYLIST.TXT and that should open it in notepad, edit the key, save it to desktop, then FTP it back over to the same place. it should ask you if you want to overwrite the file you say yes, and off you go...

most cams are under the blue button, but if your using the DK image press and hold the info button.
or if you cant find it pull the power and it should see the changes on start up....

I am using enigma 2 i have a dreambox dm800 and i don't know what other images are ok for the box. I have followed the instructions in the thread re installing tuxbox commander and it said it installed but i cannot find it.

the keylist,txt has been uploaded to the keys folder as instructed. still got the blank channels. i have also uploaded the new fix to the 2 foldrs suggested still no joy.

I am curious why i seem to hav no cam files on the dbox i had to alter camd_cfg to change the AU setting to 02. but on the dreambox i cannot find this. thanks for your help

well thats me off you help list now....
i've not messed around with the DM800 yet so I'm not sure where anything is on that, sorry
but I'm sure the are all much the same.
have you looked under the yellow button? (not actually under it as you'd need to take your remote apart)
it should be where all the other plugins are, ie VLC, etc

No new keys when restarting EMU

Having the same problem as belsh here, the tut worked a treat first time round, but no matter how many times i restart Evocamd no new keys are created, is this something to do with changing the AU setting to 02?

DONT DELETE THE KEYS.TXT

you delete the keys inside the file, then restart the cam, new keys will be there and change to correct keys, hope this helps

Its sorted now but thanks. I didn't mean I did I meant it wasn't there I had to upload mine from my old dbox.

Anyway all done. Just gotta figure out how to get my usb drive working with it and how to record back to the PC then I will be happy.

I am also experiencing the cogs coming up occasionally on screen. i turned the box off in case it was an overheating issue. I am wondering if there might be a an update for the box perhaps?
