Old dbox2 brought out of the cupboard! Help needed!

Flash pacino 2.1 on ftp nagrarom7.bin to var/keys ftp bouquets and service files to var/tuxbox/config/zapit
press blue,blue,green then choose evocamd after its started sucessfully reboot the box
check fta is working then put it on a blank channel for 5 mins to clear
also go to the service menu were you can manually input your scan details and do a fast scan.
If you cant find pacino 2.1 pm me.

What scan details do I need to know and how do I find out? On blade I can select nearest location, but still the channels list is all wrong..

I shall try as above tho, a successful scan would be a miracle itself!

Something must be wrong as scan only finds either 2 channels or none. Maybe location is wrong. Am in northamptonshire, but not northampton... anyone know of any other locations worth trying or should i just go through the list? Can't believe its taken this long. I thought it would be new image, copy services, cables and bouquets over and then keys, and that would be it. Think the services files are so old that half the channels have moved since being posted. And i can't fathom out why the keys don't work.

If you have stb(one of there boxes) go into the eng menu you can can the details from there.

Put pachino 3 on the box.
Did a scan straight off, found loads of channels. Great. First time for that happening. FTA work fine but thats it. Copied all keys including nagrarom7.bin into var/keys. Changed cam to evocamd. Enabled nagra7 on pacino menu. Restarted box. Left on encrypted channel for 5 mins. Black screen...

check its the nov nagrarom7.bin file you are using and that evocamd has chom755 attributes

Will evocamd be included in the pacino image or do i need to download it as a seperate file, or is it included in the keys.rar listed on here?

I downloaded one zip file that was evocamd217c.zip ~ 1.12 MB which i unzipped to var/bin/euu (i think)

Do i need this or is it just for dreambox? I've tried just about everything!!

I'd like to use blade quad if I could. I'll try and get an image tonight and send you it. See if you can see what I haven't done properly so that I will know in future.

Think i've finally managed to sort it. Someone sent me an image that seems to work ok, but need to see what i was doing wrong in order to be able to fix it next time.

Have you set-up your location M8? if not then set it up now and rescan the box don't forget to connect your dbox to the wall socket you know what I mean!!!!!!!
