Is there anyway to install a image straight to your dbox from the net?

What i mean is that my dbox is connected to the net all the time, is there anyway to transfer a image to the tmp folder like you do with a addon or upgrade? You could still save it the save way as you would if you transfered it with a ftp program. As it's a pain in the arse to pull all the cables out just to transfer a image. As it would make life alot easerer if you could do all by the remote

    Just a idea..............

Maybe another bug I just found ? When putting box on standby the VCR SCART output audio still plays and pic goes off.

      Cheers

If you can FTP an update to the box, you can FTP an image to the box - that is the normal way of doing it.

Or am I missing the point of the question here ?

i was thinking the same, whats this with all the pulling the cables out if the box is connected all the time to the net...what cables, surely he must have it connected by ethernet and thats all you need ???

What i am trying to say is my dbox is connected to the web and i upgrade or add a addon by pressing blue/blue then d/load straight from the net instead of d/loading to my pc then transfering it by a ftp program to my box. What i was woundering can you do the same with a image? like you do with a addon as it goes straghit into the tmp folder then save it the same way as you would with the remote as if you had ftp from your pc?

It was just a idea that i had.............

Sporster used to have online image updates i dont know if they still do
why dont you just d/load the image to your pc then use flashfxp to connect to your box through your router and slap the image into the /tmp folder then flash it using the rc you dont have to pull or remove any cables.

                  Hi Guys,
got 2 dboxs both sagam one is a 1xintel the other is a 2x intel. Both have the Comando12 image on and updated, all magic stuff as well.

Both tested on the same cable connection the 2xintel works fine no problems, however the 1x intel keeps freezing seems to work for a bit but then locks up. Any ideas as to what i can change, have looked at changing the Cams but this didnt seem to make any diff.
                  Cheers

Try in Settings > Driver & Boot Options > ENX Watchdog

Toggle that to ON, reboot, and see if it's better. Cheers- AL

I have just installed commando 12. Since installing it I cannot get it to connect to my computer.
I have changed the I.P address to the new one and wont connect so is there an option on the box I need to change?

                          Thanks!

any of you know if this image will output sound in dolby digital?
im running com 11.3 at the moment on my nokia connected to my amp with optical and when the box is in standby the dolby light will light up on my amp but when i turn the box on the light will go off which means its recieving stereo sound. now im assuming it the image but im open to suggestions.
