Commando 12 - the final showdown

Hi

I updated to the latest commando 12.??
scanned got channels. Then rescanned for channels to be on order a-z now no channels.
what do I need to do.
every scan gets no channels ?

Have you pressed the blue button and done the setmylocation then try a fast scan
also have you updated the image with the update thats in post 1 of this thread.

Yes did all that,
it did find 300 odd channels then on completion it said...
error no channels found It keeps doing it.
I've also deleted the location file (by mistake) can not get it back. but when it was there it would get tran codes, you press ok & get get an error box an all 4 for my area.
again I'm thinking of reflashing the box. The channels are ok here as this is a friends box. mines ok.

If they are both nokia's back the image up from yours and flash it to your mates
dbox
service
backup
read one partition
flash without bootloader
it will put it in the /tmp folder called mtd3.img
ftp it to the /tmp folder of your mates and
write one partition
flash without bootloader
both boxes will be identical then

only 1 problem,, his is C12 mines C11

Does not matter it will just mean he has c11 instead of c12 at least it will work

Or you could just ftp your bouquets and services.xml files from var/tuxbox/config/zapit to his
then in the service menu choose reload channel lists

oh yeah,, do you put backup file into temp dir ?
& how or what buttons to installs them ?

Hi all
I have commando 10 and ive lost all my channels ... I'm trying to flash command 12 but I cant seem to connect to dbox (using crossover cable) for some reason ... ohh I'm using windows 7 btw .. Is there a step by step guide for flashing ?? really appreciate if some 1 can help
