Hi, i have a dbox 2, ive got one processor and connected. Will this commando 12 work on my dbox rather than a sagem or will it totally brake it? Im a bit nervous about totally destroying my box by mistake? I'm connecting using winscp via a network cable as i dont have a cross over cable?

Is this a Nokia dbox2, m8? If so you can flash the 2x C12 image to /tmp and all should be well. All Nokias have 2x chipset, it's onlt the Sagem models you have to careful with, as these can be 1x or 2x chips.

But one thing that Nokia and Sagem dBox2 models have in common is that they both have only ONE processor (CPU)- and this has nothing to do with the image type.

having problems flashed with commando 12 but only seem to be getting fta channels,used the put the magic files in the correct folders but still nothing read tommo 1973 post and followed it but still nothing, can anyone help with this problem???

yea i am aware of that my other box is running andromeda and working fine i flashed this box back to andromeda now until i can find out how to get commando 12 up and running,any help with this would be appriciated....

Did you use the magic files from mercs.us and chmodd 755 evocamd.

yes i used the real magic files and checked the chmod it was already set to 755,

if u transferred the cams correctly they wouldn't be already 755 unless u overwrote cams already in the img already set to 755...if you transferred into empty folder they will be 644
