Well i have just set them an e-mail saying that i'm not happy with their returns policy and how disgusted i was with the conditions laid out in their RMA form, i have also asked for a full refund for all three boxes, i'll keep you all posted.

I have just been to the TechDNA site and it seems they have now removed thier contact phone number from thier site, nevermind, i still have thier e-mail address, business and returns address's and a car LOL.

It seems TechDNA are adamant that the boxes are indeed genuine, i also received an e-mail from them saying they will replace all three boxes which includes the box that's been opened regardless of what the RMA form states, so all in all a good result (for the moment), lets just hope that the replacement boxes don't die on me.

Thanks for all the help and advice so far guys, i'll keep you posted.

Great news as said they look genuine but very strange that they all go after the new firmware, the next lot you get put the earlier firmware on them.

If your firmware has been wiped, then your box isnt loaded with anything is it? it just doesnt power on!

I had my SV4 replaced by TechDNA with the 8882 problem when flashing. They will replace it 4 u, but its best just to say it didnt power on.. but i guess in your case, all 3 LOL

Be vary of firmware you load ask other people if it has worked fine for them.

I would load the UFL_EX1000SL_DarX_01-12-08 firmware, i've tested this on other boxes and all seems fine, but i'd wait for others to confirm though.

well duno if this is the same but my eurovox max blue takes a good 5-10 mins to power up once the firmware has been updated and the power has been cut. something to do with the capacitors loading up with power???
so maybe its as simple as that
plug it in turn it on and leave it for 10 mins, got to be worth a try

The replacements they send you will be genuine as said I have seen this done before.
