No, use the black max v firmware. Also you need to drop the signal strengh to 73% this is due to the fact that servers have been taken off line and VM are testing a new system, eurovox's are the only one sensitive to it. A variable attenuator should do it. Best time are early morning or late at night.

If it took the red firmware its a 2007 Red max model. It will not take the Max V firmware.

As said in a previous reply did you check the coax was in the RF in socket when scanning and if it was and still no signal, plug the coax directly into the TV and report back what you do/do not get.

i have removed the splitter the white cable is directly goin in to rf in .

again updating the red firmware...

Just put the coax in the back of the TV. Can you see channels 1 to 5?

is it common that it is picking up all freq. and scanning all channels with name and taking around 20 mins for scan...when all is done ..each channel says no signal..
nd do i hav to put keys manually ..key 00>>>key 01
if so then what should i put..i m usin virgin ntl

Where are you located as you may be using the wrong symbol rate. The reason I directed you to the stickies was it contained all this information.

Tell us what town/city you are near or in and we can give you the correct SR.

i checked that sr list and box is usin 6952
if its not correct then plz tell me how to change it

If you are scanning in TPs you must have a signal. After scan completed did you try to update channels?

Yep if you have the channels then its getting to your box so it may not be a cable in problem as it is picking up transponders. The no signal problem is as I said VM, the strengh is to powerful while they are messin I had the same problem last week when I rescanned.

first of all lets test what signal you got, press the info button twice on your remote, it should give you the signal in strengh, what is it?
