Is anybody working on a new firmware for this crock of crap? or are we just stuck with it as is? I bought mine a month ago and it's still sitting in it's box LMFAO. :-(

i have got a eurovox 1100 usb and i cant flash the f u cker, bin trying now for 12 hours. i downloaded EX1100USB_090925.abs to a new 8g kingston pen drive doing what the f ucking txt says and f ucking nothing! help me plz!!!!!!!!!!!

mate i just followed KDC post and it worked a treat took about 1 min are you copying and pasting to root of pen drive good luck mate thanks to KDC cheers

EX1100 USB

Have the same problems as you all.

When I try to update the firmware on my mates box using the USB stick it gets to about 30% and the box resets.

Is that normal? Got no channels and the signal is only 28%.
My own box (Max V) works perfectly.

If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

Use winrar to extract/unrar the abs file needed to flash your box then.....


1). To update the firmware on the box follow below
2) place the usb pen drive into the eurovox,(with the power to the box off) power the box on.
3) Menu.........record......HDD FORMAT...format the usb flash drive..Power the box off and remove the usb flash drive.
4)Place the usb flash drive into the pc and drag and drop the updated beta abs file to its folder.
5)With the power to the eurovox off and all set up on the tv ready to view....Place the usb flash drive into the eurovox and power the box up.
6)menu......TOOLS.......UPGRADE BY USB.....SW..THEN RED BUTTON TO START THE UPGRADE...you'll see a bar move across the screen and the box will reboot..Job done..

REMEMBER,ALWAYS POWER THE BOX DOWN B4 REMOVING/INSERTING THE USB FLASH STICK TO AVOID COSTLY ERRORS.

SCANNING.

MENU.........INSTALL..........POWER-SCAN.....AND START THE SCAN...

Just got ex1100 usb and would like help getting channels. Am very new to this and even though I have read messages I don't understand what people are talking about. Please help what firmware should I down load am in n*l area
