It must be a better picture than SD Eurovox's through composite or scart, surely? I had Sky+ and when I bought a Sky HD box all the channels improved.

The BBC HD is a quality picture as should be expected other SD channels are much the same so dont buy into all this upscaling chat i personally cant notice any differrence with that. The PVR function works well i've tried recording on a 120gb seagate in a usb enclosure and also on a 8gb micro sdhc card within a usb adapter and it records fine on both. recordings are in the .TRP format and can be viewed on your pc, i personally converted my recordings to avi with ojosoft total video converter but as of yet i havent found a way to convert downloaded movies to the .TRP format to play back on the receiver (I'm sure there must be a way to do this). The autosort is not very good on this unit and hopefully will be improved with a firmware update however there is an editor to allow you to arrange the channels the way you prefer.

gadget - there IS a way of sorting them alphabetically, go into menu, channel, favourites set up - do all channels then you can press red to sort them alphabetically

Just set up my new ex7000, looks good so far. picture quality not amazing but better than my max v, haven't checked out bbc hd yet though. just trying to download the ex7000 editor, new file format used so voxer and dnupman won't work to edit channels on this box.

BBC Hd looks mint as for the upscaling feature i honestly cant see a noticeable improvement over my starview the box pvr.
Just going for a power scan as the only niggle so far(havent tried recording feature yet) is havent been able to pick up any setanta channels!!

cant get setanta sports channels for the life o me im on my fourth deep scan .Ive also input the frequencies that are showing on the box pvr this led to the box picking up arsenal and lvpool tv but still no setanta. Help anybody im in the Coventry area if thats relevant.

only missing sky sports 2 for some reason in edinburgh area,tried at morning and night scans hasn't picked it up either unless its unnamed will browse 2moro

Im missing itv2 and e4 i will check what frequency they are on do a manul scan .
