Channels missing after a rescan?

Just to let you know the second hard factory reset hasn't worked. Nor have my attempts to get hypercam or evocam working.

All the channels are there, epg's load fine and I dont get a service could not be found message.

I just dont get any picture or sound.

The standard terrestrial channels and the filmflex and adult preview channels work but none of the encrypted channels.

you can get HTV and BBC can you get the animal channel ,because if there was something wrong you wouldnt get HTV or BBC ,if you can get HTV good leave it on there for a couple of minutes then go to the Animal channel then back HTV ,try it that way good luck

just to add even with a starview/digivox you can scan in all channels when you are on nagra3 and switch on emu or keycode enable depending of what box,but you cannot see or hear most channels as you just see a message on screen like waiting for code update which it never does,that is how nagra3 works,see if you have any freeview channels.

I can view BBC 1, 2 & 3, ITV, Ch4 & 5 etc. Filmflex and Adult preview channels are also fine.

However the usual encrypted channels such as Sky Sports and movies aren't working. Neither are certain freeview channels such as E4 or Dave etc....

You need to do the hypercam trick until it kicks in, it should work it just takes a bit of time in some areas, do as stated previously by luse below:- (i flick between SS1 and SS2 until it kicks in)

first, go to an encrypted channel, press the blue button (if i remember correctly) select hypercam and save, and wait a few minutes, change channel and wait again, and once again return to the first channel.
it should take no more than 5 minutes, if nothing happens try again.
but first things first, check your connections, and make sure vm are not doing work in your area which might be causing an issue too

I have been doing it for ages but no joy. I'll persevere for a bit longer with it then.

So goto SS1, enable hypercam leave for 5 mins or so, then change to SS2, leave for another 5 mins and change back.

I've done a hard reset and rescanned.

Gone to animal planet, enabled hypercam and left it on animal planet for 5-10 mins. Then I changed the channel to SS1 and left for 5 mins.

Nothing!

I did the same again

Nothing!

I tried the same thing but with evocam

Nothing!

Do I give up and order Sky+ HD or do I keep trying as it's says that both the streams are there? Any other cams I can try downloading and installing? I currently have hypercam 0.44 and evocam 2.14b

Also do to n3 there will be duplicate channles, you need to make sure you choose the correct one for it to work, or a correct set of bouquets /chanle list.

The only channels I have duplicates of are the standard terrestrial ones

BBC1 x 14
ITV x 17
Ch 4 x 6
Ch 4+1 x 6

i dont know itgate myself,but assume its linux,had similiar on dreams and nothing worked till i reflashed my working back up on it and all was ok again,, but if in nag3 area i think your doomed

I would have but as Satkings is down, I'm not sure where to get hold of a version of the system!
