If you have the emu config set correctly, it won't auto update if you have the correct keys in.

There is no way to keep the manual keys in. As soon as you leave the menu (even if you save the newly entered keys) the box updates the keys back to the wrong set.

Why do they include a key change menu that reverts after save? :P Surely you can disable it :S

why not download "Dreambox Editor V1.01" install it , select the blue button , select Dreambox Editor V1.01 and enter the keys manually into the boxes provided the pres UPDATE KEYS at the bottom.
this way ,everytime the keys roll (which will no doubt be a week or so) you do not need keep connecting your db to your PC.and and edit the keylist.txt file.

Re Kryptview.

I can't see any way to disable the update part. I've even set them as the default keys and deleted both sets of keys including the default and made a new set and still they get overwritten.

Starview was a doddle input new keys..save...exit..working.

Unless I'm missing something with the kryptview?

go into the keys folder and edit the softcam.key file , you should have a 00 and a 01 key, probs you 2 newest ones rom 11

As i'm on evocamd, I believe I needed to edit the keylist.txt file.

I'm pretty sure I've done as needed, but I suppose I'll need to wait. Is there a realistic max time to wait on this?

ok, i have downloaded keymaster, and when opened i get a list of different keys...which keys do i use ?? what does CW KEYS / TW KEYS / PURE KEYS stand for ?? i understand the irish ones
