I just installed the framework and it let me open the file, I am just gona try and use the codes with my remote on my ex5000, as I don't know how to ftp anything...

Hi

I know you guys must be fed up with this but could do with some help.
Got a Box PVR, can get to the 2007 menu and key section but how do you enter the keys A, B, C, D, E from the remote???
Normally, pretty good with these things but head-brick wall comes to mind .

When you are on a line press OK then the line gets highlighted (sort of gets zoomed with a cursor on it) now move using left / right arrow keys
And then use up/down arow key to enter a text ... it is bit tiring but works ...
I am not sure about the PVR .. I have a EV ultra and I did it this way ...

Hi all,

Have a 500C and 600PVR using Jade Pli image. I have tried manually changing the keys, i.e using Filesilla FTP and then changing file permissions.

Still no joy. Have rebooted the box as well. Seems to reset the keys. Any advice pls Thanks in advance

so if my key is for example :

This is the key which ou get from the keymaster, remaining data in the file is respected to your area.

best way is, flash your box with a code again (I did it with a null modem cable) did a new scan.
the it created a new keylist.txt file. and then I edited the file to put the new keys which works fine for me.
