    Virgin price hike

ON my latest v+ virgin bill i noticed a ?5 rise to my October bill. This is the second rise this year the last one a few mths ago being ?2. approx. Before i go on the phone in a hissy fit, are any of you guys aware of a ?5 rise.i've already phoned only to be told a flyer was sent to all their customers, though i didn't receive one. I would be greatfull for as many replies as possible over the next 7 days. Thanks for your replies in advance.

What did it say, i haven't had one

          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

just a thought, if they make a price increase while you still have a contract, wouldnt they be breaking the contract ?

Contract maybe for 12-18 months......after that then they can increase only once you are notified i think......dont hold me to this, but its just a thought........Someone has to pay for all the new cards that have been sent out and the problems they must have had dealing with customers that have had problems with boxes that did'nt work after putting new cards in.......imagine all the call outs.......robbing virmin ~~~~ers

if you read your contract they are entitled to increase the price where 'required'

It was a general increase, they said i should have had notification but can find no one who has had this notification as it don't exist. These people try to treat their customers like dick heads by sticking money unto bills then hope people can't read their bills properly. I calculated it then i got someone else to calculate it, they got same answer. Gonna leave it to Friday before i ring them and go nuts. Keep replies coming i'll be reading them to them.

You agree a monthly sum when you get the contract, I don't see any way why they should add ?5 to your bill without consulting it with you !

Mine went up a while ago without my knowledge.
I say without my knowledge because I get paper bills, and all I have is internet, every month a bill would come and if I bothered to read it it, it said ?18.99 for internet, the same every time. Half the time I binned the letter without opening it.
I had a phone call saying 'great news, we have upped you BB to 10mb for NO extra cost'
I said thank you very much.
Next bill came and I opened it.. ?21.99..
I rang up and said why the increase, they said they informed me via letter... I don't know if they did or didn't send it..probably one I binned.

I vowed to dump them and get someone else, but never got round to it.
