reboots to static....

but luckey dosnt turn the box into a brick, managed to re-install v4000...

anybody know of another version of this file to try?

i dont wanna sound as though i know what i am talking about but..... trying to flash new working images onto my digivox has taught me one thing. if you flash a bad image and get the ???? code which means the box is dead (a brick as you put it)

you simply flash the V1220 image and even though there is an error message the box will now talk to your pc and allow you to flash another image.

now all we need to do is find a working image....

hi dee,

i am by no means an expert at this, however, i think you could be trying to flash the wrong software.

in my attempts to fix my aunts box i discovered that there are at least 2 box types and therefore 2 software types.

you can find both types of software on this site on the forums with download links. (i dont remember where and i am too lazy to look them upo for you) just search as i and many others before have had to do.

Flash digivox

Hi,
I have tried several times to flash my box but nothing is happening.

Hi Dj what type of box do you have is it a digivox or a digivox XL also what type of cable are you using make sure it is a null modem. I had the same problem as you & the problem was a USB adaptor if you are using 1 dont.

Hi Is any one having the same problem with EPG guide all channel numbers saying the same thing 5000? I up dated my digivox silver 2day and no matter what i do even factory reset then rescan still saying 5000. can any one help please?

After you flashed the box, when you hooked it back up, did you select factory reset before scanning for channels? If not, do that and it should solve the problem.

Once you connect the box back up to your tv, go to the menu, select factory setting, press OK and confirm you want to reset the box to factory setting. If you didn't do this, I believe that may be why all channel numbers are 5000.

If anyone else is having problems see my post on the 3rd page (8th post down) for a complete guide if necessary.

I tryed that with no luck even when using the v4000 bin the same thing happens, any more ideas or do i have to wait for a new fix ?

Does this new flashware now fully auto-update again as before the changes kicked in in late November? Sorry if this is a numpty question, but bit lost from all comments so far? Cheers.

Hi there, I am looking for the latest firmware for the Digi vox I am NTL Ireland. Whenever I open file I download file from this site it is saying it is corrupt. Can you tell me what I#m doing wrong. Much appreciated

if it is a corrupted scrap it and download another file,u say u are using digivox silver model and not xl all black,the most recent bin file is v4300 dated 1/1/2009

when updating ur box,factory reset 0000 to delete,reboot,flash the bin file,reboot,power off at back/on autoscan ur provider,emu to on,set default key and exit out
let it update,

digivox t silver use in irl on mmds c****s dvb/t
digivox 2007 silver dvb/c
digivox xl all black dvb/c

all 3 boxes use same downloader 10 but they all have their own files,stick to the one for ur box only.
