simple question to answer,what firmware is on box?

yes tryed s/w update . i am up to date .. do you have kv as well ? i just want to compair channels to see what people had . or to see weather it was a fault on mine

yes had kv for a couple of years now so i know what im doing.. must just be the way things are at the moment

hi, can i get some advice regarding digital boxes, which is the best kryptview a780 or starview 7 or something else? also as i read most of the posts openbox and starview needs sub but kryptview dont, is that right? also were do i get the file to flash from?

Try powering off and on a couple of times if that doesn't work try flashing with an earlier firmware. Had this a while ago and flashed back to FTA firmware then to an earlier cracked firmware and then let the box update online.

Just wanted to know if this tutorial still works 3 years on? Contemplating getting a kryptview in the next week or so but don't want to shell out all that money if they are redundant. Also which kryptview should I be looking at that'll work with V.Media?

Yeah it worked last april i used it mate all good i think the F/W you after is marked as 24/04/2011 then you update online...................
