factory reset first clears channel data and by powering off at rear box and router might clear any bugs stored and can make downloading quicker.
it may depend who you are with and hard wired not wifi.

Either u use the null cable or wait by remote lad... only 2 options. Good luck

I have attempted this three times twice over night and it hangs at 99.9% after taking upto 13-14 hrs to download just ordered a usb -null modem cable from ebay ?9.50 ish (?25 from maplins robbin barstewards) as I only have a laptop my normal null modem cable dont fit

Finally remembered how to do it with a USB Serial converter and Null Modem cable. All done and no Glitching. Thanks.

Loool flashing the box really just mean putting a new firmware or reinstalling the same firmware @cactikid nothing much as that

The trouble is we only got these 2 options... i had to use my null for the 1st time a year after buying n had to look for it like crazy n found the damn thing in the attic. Yh just be patient mate the average is 17hr to 2 days the least depending on ur connection speed using the remote online firmware update... by null u know it takes only 10min or less so yh...Good luck bud
