Pmsl, my problem is I've never updated via null cable, only remote I'm afraid. Knowing my luck I'd brick my box!!

Hi guys well I updated to the 2015 firmware today using the null if anybody is having problems please follow the tutorial it works perfectly!!!! i have only just purchased my box still not getting no channels well I do get a couple of sport channels which say shambled. I live in West Bromwich iv been threw all ntl, ex, telewest do I need to manual scan and point in the correct place ? Many thanks for help

Switch box off, then press download in the kv prog, then turn box back on, u should then see in the box display a minus sign going round,wait for it to do its thing, maybe a minute or so, wait for the kvloader to say all done, then switch box off and on again you should be ok then.

@mdma1, you shouldn't have to do a rescan mate, i did mine this morning, after i did the update all i did was switch box off and on again, all channels that i have checked so far seem to be ok.

I only brought my box 2 days ago it had really old f/w on it so iv updated it to latest but iv never had no channels on there to begin with and still nothing.... Is there any basic checks I can do on the box menus? I have got vm 156mb bb. All new cables its online but no channels, I have noticed signal strength stays at 0 and hits 77 finds a couple of odd sports channels then drops back down and don't even find normal tv

Press upload where mate? I took my KV upstairs in my office where my PC is connected to it so am wondering what upload key to press??

get loader and update ready, turn box off, press start on loader, turn box back on quickly.
