I bought this, but am having problems configuring it (I'm not techy).

I have a PC with a Netgear router attached (which connects the PC upstairs).

I tried following the TP-LINK instructions typing in the address http://192.168.0.254/ on my PC (while having it plugged into the router).

The page came up ok, and it says to change the LAN IP Address according to my network - so I changed it to my IP address.

I clicked to go to the next stage and my damn Child protection blocker came on and i couldn't go back.

Now I can't log on to the TP LINK thingy as I don't get asked for the password etc.. it just times out.

I tried resetting the TP-LINK but it hasn't worked.

This is more trouble than it's worth!

At the back of the TP LINK there should be a reset button. you need to press this to reset, use a safety pin or needle and start again. Plug the TP LINK directly to your pc and configure it and wirelessly connect it to your router first then connect it your box once your router is found on it

ok, I'll give it a go.

Edit: It's worked, but i'm not getting any channels.

I set the TP-LINK to 'Bridge' (point to point).. there was other options (access point, client, repeater, universal repeater, Bridge (point to multi-point), but i don't know if this is correct.

This is beginning to hack me off!

I've tried all the modes - 'Bridge' (point to point, access point, client, repeater, universal repeater, Bridge (point to multi-point).

                Nothing works.

                Can anyone help?
