KRYPTVIEW A780 BOXES ARE THEY CRAP OR WHAT

its was never about post count ,
, someone once told me ," a wiseman speaks b,cause he has something to say, a fool b,cause he has to say something ".

and i admit i havent contributed here before ,but the reason its being disscussed on this site is "this is where i accuired them (from a member here,who i will never metion b,cause we all take our chances )
and may i say its not weather or not we get the channels back ,
if i have spent money and not got value for my money then thats entirley my choice and no one to blame other than myself,

THE QUESTION IS ,
HOW RELIABLE IS THE KRYPTVIEW BOX ...????

or is it just another cablebox ?

yes i know mate but if people were told before buying these boxes that we may loose "some channels" some of the time but what channels no one knows and for how long ?
would we have paid the price asking for them, value for money ,or just paid and been satisfied ,
believe it or not im happy so far with my box , just not happy about the backup bieng offered "server problem" be back up mon/tue/wed/ mybe
beari ng in mind we were told monday, gave them tue , its now wed, and still dont know when channels are coming back

no channels at all

loaded the 09092010 firmware 2nite, and the s/w from menu does nothing

yes its reliable..listen guys you know this is a very dodgy business..its not like 1st generation fta boxes ..we are talking about shareing cards=fraud etc...latest kv boxes were imported with tape over the ethernet ports..this is a daily changing situation..i am sure the reason for this is technical..i fully expect kvs to be on sale for years..but who knows ..nature of the game ehh

if the software in the menu does nothing then its down to your ethernet connection , no communication ,you have a net problem

Does. The Ethernet port at back of box light up when you plug the LAN cable in.

i have all channels up and running now...

we were told when problems started that it was "server maintanence" and all will be resolved soon...

buying any sort of pirate box carries risks...
if you aren't prepaired to except this then i suggest you get you boxes from here
to be fair some channels were down for longer than expected, but look on the brightside...
the main channels (sly sports, movies etc) were for the most part operational....
we are all trying to get something for nuthin here....

considering the fact that we are paying a fraction of the full sub..
some "problems" are to be expected....
i'm just happy with what i have got...
(no offence, just my opinion)

I agree

As long as they focus the correct "keys" on the main channels: Sly sports and ESPN (for me), then I will be a happy bunny

I don't really care about the other channels.
