          you still down m8...

          just to satisfy my curiousity

          1. switch off your router and modem
          2. connect your box to your router using an ethernet cable (don't use the any of the cables you got with homeplugs)
          3. switch on modem, wait 2 mins, switch on router, wait two mins, switch on box...
          4. go into menu, s/w update and see if it can connect.....

                dunno m8,
do you have an ethernet cable, (not the ones from homeplugs) just to maks absolutly sure.
and can you follow instructions from my previous post.
you dont need to be connected to cable feed when trying this.
just trying to get you connected to server.
remember to switch off everthing before connecting up....

superb m8, we are getting somewhere.
now set up your homeplugs put your box where it is suppsed to be and do the same.
switch off everything reboot modem, router box 2 min....
                    and do s/w update again.
                    post back results.
forget about cables inside box, your box is working m8
