If the box is faulty i cant even get money back or swap it, on the website where i purchased, it states no refund if software has been flashed on the box,gutted.

Thats bollox. If the dealer wont swap it name and shame him.

The main supplier has no issues with faulty boxes and will exchange without question.

I payed with Paypal,I have not actually been in touch with them yet ,but the returns poilcy on there website states.........ALL RECEIVERS ARE FREE TO AIR ONLY - WE DO NOT CONDONE USE OF ILLEGAL SOFWARE. Irrespective of what it says, if the box is faulty it is not fit for the purpose and a retailer cannot avoid his responsibilities under the SoG act.

I have a feeling there is something not right with my internet connection,but my pc and laptop are working fine,maybe the bt home hub is not working proper or is not compatible with box in someway.

Just reading through this thread and thought of another way to get your box on the net to test it out.

What about setting up your Laptop to use ICS, internet connection sharing then you just plug the Kryptview box into your Laptops ethernet which will let you access the net via its wireless connection you know is deffo working.

Setting up ICS on your Laptop.

(I'm assuming your Lappy is running Vista/Win 7)
In Vista/Win 7 right click on your internet connection (bottom right beside the clock) then click Open Network and Sharing Center, now click on Change Adapter Settings then right click on on your Wireless Network Connection and choose Properties then choose the Sharing Tab then put a tick in the box where it says Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection then click OK

All you need to do now is plug your Kryptview box into your Laptops ethernet connection which will allow your Kryptview to connect to the net using the Laptops wireless connection. (the laptop needs to be on for this)

It's just a way of connecting your Kryptview box to the net without going directly through your BThub.

(Works great with my xbox in my bedroom where I have no internet connection, should work exactly the same for you.)
