think it may be time to upgrade to a starview 4..seems much more firmware is floating around for this...need it sorting before the ashes!

old fix wont work with new encryption,plenty of boxes like urs gone the same way, they still work in uk with old n1.

hi all great forum have my mate has starview 1 i am flashing it with the lastest fix v1-5 but soon as i put it on the tv freezes and the frout of the box gose to 0 and after about 1min it reboots it self and dose the same thing i have tryed flashing the box with the download and then switching the box on and it downloads it but dose the same as above and help would be great thx lads ,

I have a SV1 and I have'nt used for awhile, anyway Richard since going digital, in his wisdom has started turning the channels off. I tried my SV1 on saterday (no good) put in new keys still (no good) so has anyone got any idea's I would greatly appreciate any help, and thank you for your time. Brewin

were you from m8. what is the latest firmware on the box.

I flashed the box when I first had it about 2+ years ago, but I dont know if a lot has changed since then and if it needs doing again with an updated version
