Hey guys sorry about the recent connection issues. There has also being an issue with connecting mac addresses received and only 20% were capable of being added. Therefore we have created yet another software release, sorry about this although where trying to give the best service possible therefore this is a must. The new software will resolve any connection issues for previous and new box's, also the final channels will appear following this release and ensure better viewing!

PLEASE NOTE all previous release will become rendered useless within the next 3 days so this UPDATE is a must!


.21 Readme -------------------------------------------------------------------- To install Download SMGO2.21 from Digital Kaos - Downloads - SMGO 2.2.1 Firmware for SV6 & 7 smgo221.ups to a extrernal storage device or usb pen (make sure its formatted to fat 32) insert extrernal storage device or usb pen into the usb ports at the rear of the box Press menu > utility > Usb > uk > SMGO221.ups > ok s/w upgrade > ok wait for s/w upgrade to complete and box to restart once restarted -------------------------------------------------------------------- Factory Default menu > installtion > facotyr default > ok > ok -------------------------------------------------------------------- Scan for Channels menu >installtion > autosearch > ok sybol rate "your symbol rate" > search >wait for search to complete > ok >exit >exit -------------------------------------------------------------------- Activate got to premium channels (ie sly sports 1) press 1819 on the remote -------------------------------------------------------------------- Screen format menu > options > osd setup > screen format > ok > 16:9 > ok > exit > exit

When you purchase the Starview box he states that you will get 12 months sub now the expiry dates registering on several boxes on this forum seems to be the 15th of November 2011 which is six months short from my purchase date. and some others have noticed this. When it expires he will require money to renew the sub which am stating he won't get a penny of.

exactly. the money went to starview, who have now washed their hands regarding server. the kiddy etc have not had your money, so cant argue really, they are giving you 6 months, you could have nowt now.

But to of obtained the source code to re-program the boxes someone must have employed him to do so the re-sellers? or he may of purchased it from Globaltec either way if he'd asked for money in twelve months as stated by himself on a number of occassions I would have agreed to re-sub for x amount of months but to pull the rug so to speak is rather untrustworthy.

Just added new firmware, box been down all day worked first time in Glasgow area. Seemed to have been allocated a bit more expiry time than other guys mines 15th sept bought in nov last year.

Tried new software still showing "not connected" just had a text from the supplier of the box saying "sever down will be back on ASAP"
Is any boxes working now?

server is not down...my friends sv6 working right now, but my sv6 says not connected....so your supplier telling you porkies m8

Mine working fine mate think a lot of the newly sold boxes not connecting though.
