I dont know mate i think its all depending on how new your box is. Loads of other folk in other posts are having problems with theirs if they bought them recently. If not I would maybe try again some other people have reported it working second time.

you have 2 days left to get new firmware on your box, and counting down till when you will get no service, you will also now get an expire date on your box, which it will be switched off after that, and its Oct/ Nov this year seem to be regardless of when you purchased your box, sorry to say!!.

some boxes also expire in JUNE/JULY/AUGUST, some in 5 days time, and they bought them 3 weeks ago..

expiry dates and box not registered/not connected......if this is the final straw..then its not leaving behind any good marks for the SV team....all negative, deceite and misleading customers....and i dont care if some1 paid ?100 or ?1 for their boxes...its still DECEITFUL from the SV team.

if you get broadband from BT for 12 months , they wouldnt cut you off after 6 months service?
