bbc1 bbc2 itv channel 4 gone starview 4

hi all have starview 4. put in new firmware 1.10. had all channels last nite but came in from work and bbc1 bbc2 itv and channel 4 are all blank. also sky1 @ sky 2 now gone. have tried factory reset. rescaned and emu is on but channels still blank also reflashed but still the same. anybody else having this problem. i live in dublin ireland. dont know if that has anything to do with with it. any ideas thanks

In Dublin,starview box dropped BBC1/2,Ch4,UTV etc. tried new autoscan to no avail.what is reflashing?

reflashing is where you put the firmware back on to the starview through your usb have you tried putting the old firmware back on perhaps that will do the trick

if as you say you have a sv4 all you need is a usb memory stick put the firmware onto that from your computer put it into your box at the back make sure you turn box off b4 putting in and taking out the usb memory stick once inserted go to menu down to usb then you will see the firmware on there just push ok then box will reboot then follow the setup steps (scan, 1570 key code on, etc etc)

i have a prob also with sv4 keep losing channels im in the london area on tw i updated to the new v10 but still keep losing them, every couple of days i have to do the reset rescan dont know if this is common prob or if its just me
any help would be great

The box i have is a starview mr7.There is only a RS232 connection,which unfortunately I dont have.

before you rescan try factory setting 0000. then press default key m8....

so if i download software v1.10 for stARVIEW 4 is it easy to install? I'v lost channels 1-5 but have all the rest for some reason
