Starview 5 - firmware

I HAVE GOT STARVIEW 5 USB II. HAD FOR NEARLY A YEAR. NONE OF THE CHANNELS EXCEPT SPORTS ARE WORKING. PEVIOUSLY DOWNLOADED FIRMWARE V2.03. ALSO I HAVE TRIED 2.05 BUT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I COME UNDER ROFORD AREA.
IS THEIR A NEW UPDATED VERSION. PLEASE HELP!!!

MMmmmmmmmmmmmmm You sure it the Sv5 The Box usbII cos as far as i know its only been out 6 months not nearly a year!

hi all since last post i have downloaded and installed firmware v 2.03 menu and box working bot all chanels just come up with a totally black screen. i have tried doing an auto scan since down loading new firm ware on box but still nothing, any help would be appreciated.

Same here. Channels started dissapear. Movies first then documentary etc.
Downloaded v2.05 (previous was 2.03) nothing changed. Living in Stratford area.
Hopefully new firmware will be out soon.
Also tried the factory default with reinserting 4 digit code but that didnt help neither. Any ideas?

hi ppls im new to this ive jus bought a starview 5 usb2 coming in the post from wizardsatellite.com i wanted to know whats the best frimware for me to use in london? i have seen the v2.05 or v2.03? and is this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ep-step-84480/ the correct method for me to use? if some would could help me will be great. thank you

To be honest m8 its the wrong time to be buying a cable box why oh why dont some of you read up before waisting your hard earned cash. Cable boxes have a limited life now.
As for the correct firmware 2.03 is the best so far and there is a Tut in the downloads section also.

red stickies at top of page ,also read up about nagra 3 which areas are gone and boxes no longer work.

i got a starview 5 the box super , it been sound and all working for about 4month and last couple of days lost some of the channels especially at night like sky sports, adult channels, some disney ones and couple of others it just sayd no signal, tried factory reset no luck tried rescaning still th same and i cant get on to the secret menu anymore anyone got any ideas.
