whats happening

when im watchin sky movies or sports after like a minute it starts freezing and pixelating and then comes back and carrys on doin this and sumtimes the channels dnt even come on and only return when i turn off unit its a the box star view 5 what should and do and how please help james

do you have v2.05 firmware,if so reflash with v2.03

star view 5 filmware version

so is version 2.05 the correct version of filmware for the sv5? mine seems to be running on v1.12?? very badly may i add and hardly any channels are working. if they do it because i have switched off and back on. but then when i change over 80% have dropped off

ok i have manged to down load the link to version 2.05?? how ever i get an IRD error message keep coming up no matter if i format in pc or in box.

if it helps at all just found out its running vers 1.12?

how do i go about upgrading this then?

I dont think you have SV5, must be SV4.

I believe that 2.03 is the right version as it has just come out recently. Im running on 2.02 and my Sky Sports 2 and 4 have gone and so have Sky Movies 1 + 2.

hi,
I am also new to this and I am having some problems.
I have all my free view channels but no premium I have re-flashed with 2.03 and have updated on ch 401 as 511 didn't work for some reason and still no premiums?? can any one say if Dundee (Scotland) has been blocked as we have new cards for our cable boxes

if you had your card more than 2/3 weeks then yes you have prob moved to n3 and theres no fix, thats how long it took my channels to dissapear from card arrival to fta.
