Thanks for the fast reply. I just formatted like you said. loaded file again too but still wont update. it goes to 20% and fails. I tried another flash drive but still the same. Ready to pull my hair out now

If the box is brand new then load the FTA firmware FIRST and then the latest, making sure you select the correct LAN or NON LAN firmware.

just installed GrooveRider_HD_Combo_+_0128.uad) work fine but some channels are still scrambled wot have mist out on my install ?i have hightlight accessory and pushed 8989 but no keyedit appered

Hi load Starveiw HD Combo_0130.UAD File first and load GrooveRider_HD_Combo_0212.UAD FILE after.
YOU MUST DO A FACTORY RESET AFTER

hi, i have had hd combo since nov09 no problems until 31st march none of channels worked i deleted all channels and rescanned now its only picking up 2 channels it is the non lan version any help would be appreciated.

i have the same problem, i live in the west midlands.
my sv4 works well once i uploaded the latest firmware but my combo non lan only lets me find 2 channels i have followed the instructions to the letter but no joy, any help greatly appriciated. is there any way of reseting the bost completely as if brand new? factory reset dosn't remove the firmware is there any way to do this?

Hi i have the same problem with my none lan box i can only get 2 channels. I,m also in the west mids, lets see if any one can get us out of this S*** only had the box for 3 months ( same problem as thicko) PLS PLS HELP.

I am new to this whole process, my system info reads as follows

i have tried to up load the firmware but it keeps failing after 20% is there anything i can do?

i have tried serval memory sticks, both formating them on the starview and on the pc.

i cant get the 8989 screen to come up on the accessory screen.

Hi, tried the above advice i have a sv combo plus starts to download, gets to 20% then says update fail check usb memory, anyone got any ideas?
